The Fair Lawn Community Center is a state-of-the-art recreation center that offers a wide variety of youth, adult and cultural activities. Many of the Borough’s clubs hold classes and events at the community center. Drama and musical performances take place in the 170-seat theater. The Fair Lawn Community Center is available to rent for business seminars, corporate events and theatrical productions.
Enjoy world class plays, musicals, concerts and more at the Fair Lawn Community Center. We have partnered with the Hurdy Gurdy Folk Music Club to bring you some of the best musicians in folk music. We are also home of the Old Library Theatre and the proud co-sponsors of St. Anne Stages, Skyline Theatre Company, Pioneer Productions Company, Inc. and the Ridgewood Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company. Join an art class with our partners, the Fair Lawn Art Association or learn more about becoming a Ham radio operator through the Fair Lawn Radio Club. Both organizations are located in the Community Center.
All programming subject to change. Doors to the theater open one hour before show time and any available tickets can be purchased at the Theater Box Office at that time.
We welcome and continue to take both private and corporate bookings for use of our Theater, Atrium Lobby and conference room facilities. For recreational activities, adults can access the computer center, fitness center, and walking track or take part in aerobics, badminton, basketball, karate, table tennis and volleyball. Check out our schedule for league enrollments or open gym nights. Or take it easy in the card room, which features card games, chess and checkers. Youth sports include all the same activities as the adults’, plus access to the teen center, teen lounge and youth center. The youth center includes a full-size video arcade, air hockey tables, billiards, and large TVs.
Membership is free of charge for Fair Lawn residents. Some of the classes and activities require a fee.
