Youth Activity Center
Badminton Club:
Starting Sunday, October 15th the club will meet each Sunday from 9:30
am to 11:30 am. The program is free to residents in grades 6 through adult.
Basketball, Open:
When the gymnasium is not in use for another event or activity, it is
available for open gym basketball.
Computer Center:
The computer center is equipped with several computers having Internet
access and printers. Students in grades 5
through 12 will be able to use the computers Monday to Friday 7:00 pm to
9:30 pm; Saturdays 7:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Adults will have use of the computer
room Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, Saturday 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
and Sunday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Family time (adult with child in 5th grade
or under) will be Monday to Friday 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am to
7:00 pm and Sunday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Membership cards will be
required, no guests and no food or drink in the computer room. Download the flyer for details.
Viewing material on the Internet that is inappropriate for family viewing is
prohibited (warning flyer).
Karate / Self Defense:
Combining carefully selected elements of classical Okinawan and Japanese
Karete, Judo and Yoga streatching, Sensei Ed Kindermann uniquely blends
these arts into an effective and fun to learn Self Defense program.
Teen Center:
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm; Saturday and
Sundays, 7:00 pm to 10:30 pm.
Open to Fair Lawn children in grades 9-12 only. Pre-registration is
required. The Teen Center is closed during the month of August. Download flyer for details.

Teen Lounge:
The intended use of the Teen Lounge is to provide a minimally supervised
area for individuals in grades 9-12 to enjoy. The Teen Lounge will close 30
minutes before the building closes for the evening. Building policies/rules
apply to the Teen Lounge (download
policy brochure), including no public affection, use of profanity and
being under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Any persons misusing the Teen Lounge area will be banned from the lounge. Management has the right to close the Teen Lounge for all or any part of the evening when the facility is not being used appropriately or have a sufficient number of individuals using the lounge.
